Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. Announces Delivery of Capesize New Building Vessel

Navios Maritime Holdings Inc., a global, vertically integrated seaborne shipping and logistics company, announced that the Capesize vessel Navios Melodia of 179,132 dwt was delivered from a South Korean shipyard to Navios Holdings' owned fleet on September 21, 2010.
The vessel is chartered-out for 12 years at a net charter out rate of $29,356 per day with 50/50 profit sharing in excess of $37,500.
Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. is a global, vertically integrated seaborne shipping and logistics company focused on the transport and transshipment of drybulk commodities including iron ore, coal and grain.
Navios Holdings may, from time to time, be required to offer certain owned Capesize and Panamax vessels to Navios Maritime Partners L.P.** for purchase at fair market value according to the terms of the Omnibus Agreement.
