COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Dec 17, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- LifeCycle Pharma A/S (Copenhagen:LCP) announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a Notice of Allowance for LCP's U.S. patent application directed to LCP's fenofibrate tablet.

The patent application covers Fenoglide(R), a product for which LifeCycle Pharma has previously obtained U.S. NDA approval and is now marketed in the U.S. by Sciele Pharma, Inc. (a Shionogi company).
