NeuroSearch A/S' share capital and voting rights

Copenhagen, 31 August 2007 - On 13 August 2009, NeuroSearch A/S (NEUR)
increased its share capital with the issue of 345,238 new shares of DKK 20
nominal value each. The shares were issued and subscribed for by
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) at a market price of DKK 107.84 per share upon exercise
of an option to NeuroSearch to issue shares under the existing development
alliance with GSK.
On 25 August 2009, NeuroSearch increased its share capital further with the
issue of 618,562 new shares of DKK 20 nominal value each. The shares were
issued and subscribed for by Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation at a
market price of DKK 120.35 per share as an equity investment in NeuroSearch
related to the signing of a drug discovery and drug development alliance
between NeuroSearch and Janssen Pharmaceutica.
Pursuant to section 6 of Executive Order no. 1273 of 16 December 2008 on
Issuers' Disclosure Obligations, it is hereby announced that at the end of
August 2009, the nominal value of NeuroSearch share capital is DKK 344,756,600
distributed on 17,237,830 shares of DKK 20 nominal value each, and
corresponding to 344,756,600 votes.
