LifeCycle Pharma A/S (OMX:LCP) announced today that Karin Hamberg, Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer has decided as of today to step down from her position in order to pursue other career opportunities outside LCP. Karin joined LCP in June last year and took over the position as Chief Medical Officer in November 2008.
In connection with Karin’s resignation, Anderson Gaweco, Vice President of Clinical Development US, will effective today be acting as Chief Medical Officer. Anderson Gaweco joined LCP in February this year. Anderson previous positions include scientist and management positions at Roche, Pfizer, Astra-Zeneca as well as academic positions, mainly within the transplantation field, in Germany and in the US. His most recent position was as Director, Clinical Science, Virology & Transplantation at Roche. Anderson Gaweco originally took his medical degree in Heidelberg, Germany before moving to the United States.
