LifeCycle Pharma announces strengthening of senior management team

LifeCycle Pharma A/S (OMX:LCP) announced today that Edward E. Koval and Dr.
John Weinberg will join LCP's senior management team as Senior Vice President,
Business Development and Strategic Corporate Development, and Senior Vice
President, Commercial Development and Strategic Planning, respectively.

"We are very pleased to announce the hiring of Ed Koval and Dr. John Weinberg
as new members of LCP's senior management team. Ed and John bring tremendous
experience from their previous positions and will play a key role in the
pre-marketing preparations of LCP's lead product candidate, LCP-Tacro?, as well
as in the capitalization of LCP's other R&D portfolio and intellectual
properties?, said Dr. William J. Polvino, President and CEO.

Ed Koval will lead LCP's licensing activities and serve a key role in strategic
corporate business transactions. Ed began his career as an engineer with
General Electric before transition into pharmaceutical finance, strategic
planning, business development and liaison management functions. Ed has held
positions of increasing responsibility at Merck & Co., Chiron, and most
recently as Vice President, Business Development and Alliance Management, at
Novartis in the Cardiovascular/Metabolic, Neuroscience and, Vaccine business
units. Ed received his Bachelor's degree from New York University, his
Master's degree in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and his
MBA degree from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology (MIT).

Dr. John Weinberg will be serving a key role in corporate strategy and pipeline
target identification. John brings substantial hands-on experience in the
commercialization of transplant medicine products having served key roles at
Wyeth where he was responsible for the global Rapamune® franchise and most
recently as Head of the US Business Franchise for Transplant and Infectious
Diseases at Novartis. At Novartis, John was responsible for the global growth
of the Myfortic® franchise. John has significant experience across a broad
range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, hematology, transplantation,
auto-immune and infectious diseases. Prior to Novartis, John was the Oncology
Business Unit Head at Enzon. John received his MD degree from the University
of the Witwatersrand School of Medicine, Johannesburg, South Africa, and his
MBA degree from Insead at Fontainebleau, France.

Ed Koval and John Weinberg will both report directly to Dr. Polvino, and the
senior management team of LCP will hereafter in addition consist of Peter G.
Nielsen (EVP Pharmaceutical Development and CMC), Johnny Stilou (VP Finance),
Anja Leschly (HR Director) and Tim Melkus (SVP Development Operations).

In addition to the above, Peter Schøtt Knudsen, General Counsel and Head of IR,
has elected to leave LCP in order to take up a management position as General
Counsel at Royal Unibrew A/S. Peter will continue his work with LCP until
September 2010 and will thereafter assist in a smooth transition of his tasks
and responsibilities. LCP wishes to thank Peter for his valuable contributions
to LCP over the past years and wishes him the best of luck in his new
endeavors.
