Affitech A/S, (NASDAQ OMX: AFFI), the antibody medicines company, announced that
Managing Director Martin Welschof will present the company today at the Annual
Nordic Health Care Conference in Oslo where leading Norwegian and selected
Scandinavian Health Care companies are invited to provide company updates.
 
In his presentation Martin Welschof emphasizes Affitech's potential to isolate
multiple fully human antibody candidates to challenging targets and the emerging
market potential of the Company's lead drug candidate, AT001/r84, an antibody
therapeutic which blocks angiogenesis leading to reduction of tumour growth.
AT001/r84 has the potential to be as good or better than Avastin®/bevacizumab,
which was launched in 2004 and generated revenue of USD 5.7bn in 2009. AT001/r84
is planned to enter into human clinical trials in 2011 in co-development with
Affitech's Russian partner NTSPlus.
