I will not go into, and the latest figures as they do not really say very much, games context are very similar to film industry. When you have a product under development, so you simply bleed cash. Especially if you go all in that Starbreeze has done. Hence the less the flow.
But first some basic history.
Starbreeze is now quite old and six games released on the market, even if derans game has not been any monsters will find it's still a highly respected studio. Especially for the job they did on the first Riddick game which was released 2004th
They have clearly shown that they are able to produce games which spans the second AAA game.
It is not a great half game companies or small new-comer Paradox Star Vault Starbreeze without playing in the top division with DICE, BioWare, Rocksteady and other studios that produce premium games against the big console and PC market.
Okay, what do we know so far? Actually, no official faktan BUT with all the leaks of information, I am 100% sure that they work a remake of the PC classic Syndicate.
Here is the evidence so far:
EA registererar a lot of trademarks on the Syndicate brand, Starbreeze mentioned. Sidecar one is the subsidiary of Starbreeze.

Given how long these rumors have been on hold input, and you can not deny that there is Syndicate has Starbreeze working on.
Now you are wondering who did not gamers in the 90's is what Syndicate, Jo Syndicate and Syndicate Wars is a game series that was developed during the 1990's by Peter Molyneux Bullfrog.
The game is a cult classic with his cyberpunk theme which deals with large companies that control the world and these are at war with each other.
A very violent game that is mixture of the first GTA game with a bit role and strategy elements.
Recently, it has been popular and take the old franchise and make sequels or on them to today's audience. And some of them have been really great will find.
For example:
Fallout 3 - Nearly six million copies sold (PC not included)
Oblivion - 4 million (PC not included)
Bioshock (Spirituel sequel to System Shock) - 3 million
BioShock 2 - 2 million
Dragon Age (Spirituel sequel to Baldurs Gate) - Nearly three million copies
Those numbers are not based on "Shipped copies" without actually sold units to retail.
Source Wikipedia.
There are many more successful games based on old classics and even some fiasco but generally these are good games.
I think the winning concept is that you already have a template that has worked before as simply the normal:. And the brand is already known so that you do not need to explain what it is for something you are trying to sell.
Starbreeze has a very large team of Syndicate. 115 people according to latest reports from Mr. Anson Christ. This is not normal when a development team is usually around 60 people for a normal AAA production.
This is mainly because EA were spending derans Jason Bourne project, but I think it is worthy to Starbreeze dare to keep their large staff to do an even tighter game of the Syndicate. Especially given that the money comes in large part by Starbreeze own money as it is written in the report.
Starbreeze has had major problems. The defunct Bourne game is probably due not to the quality of the game, but simply that the film did not go. According to rumors like regisörren not make the movie unless the script is top notch and Matt Damon refuses to work with anyone other than Green Grass. And if EA is marketing push from the movie so it is quite logical to close the game. On the other hand, Hollywood has a tendency to change quite as fast as I would not be too surprised if one day they will see sense and make a movie to. Then it's good for EA and Starbreeze, which has quite a finished product that they can get out relatively quickly. According to the rumors that had already been Bourne game quite as much in production.
The second major problem has been the opt-out of key people. These have since resigned from Starbreeze to start their own business. This, then, people who have been through and started from scratch and Starbreeze developed derans technology.
http://machinegames.com/public/index.php5?pg=1
The reason has never nämts but I suspect major conflicts behind riddåerna.
Given when derans website was last updated so I do not think it's been so good for the drop outs.
This, however, I think personally is not something negative.
It feels like Starbreeze have tried and establish themselves as a separate graphics engine studio that would eventually license the engine out.
But in all honesty, it feels derans own technology very passé.
Enclave and Riddick was first technically excellent games, but the latest The Darkness and Riddick HD showed that not much had happened in recent years. Long loading sequences, small lanes with little substance. half awkward gameplay. The only real save of the game was derans cinematic storytelling that was world class.
Derans multiplayer mode was a complete disaster, even uttered almost unplayable at all games.
It does not go and make your own gmotor if it can not compete against id Software's Tech 5, Crytek's Cry engine, or Epic Unreal Engine 3.
Therefore, I applaud Starbreeze's choice to dump its own engine and use the Unreal 3 engine.
Unreal 3 engine is a proven engine and is said to be generally the best and easiest to work with as a developer.
This will do the job for any programmer much easier since they no longer need to familiarize themselves with the code to Starbreeze own ihopkok. Epic engine is extremely well documented and they give great support to its licensees.
If you read between the lines of the last shareholders' letters from Christ Anson so it seems almost like EA have also liked to spend Syndicate production, probably because it was considered too risky by key personnel who have dropped out of one engine as the remaining programmers find it difficult to acquaint themselves in.
Hence, it looks like that Starbreeze has agreed to borrow money and have a high risk themselves IOM engine replacement, this suggests that they really believe in their product, and given that many employees including the CEO itself takes a lot of shares in the company so this suggests that they will do everything it can to get to a huge win.
The fact that they are taking a greater risk of course that means even more royalties, funds tend to be between 20/25 percent per game sold. Since we do not know what exactly what Starbreeze royalty deal is in contact rocket, we can only speculate. But let us count a bit anyway.
First you have to sell the game before the break-even royalty is ticking up, Sweden is an expensive country and produce games, and given the large number of staff need to EA so probably sell 1.5 million games to break even.
For the full price of 600 SEK will take manufacturing, warehouse, shop, Microsoft / Sony approximately SEK 200 / 250.
So after the break as may Starbreeze between 20-30% in royalty per game.
This money is then split out, a certain percentage goes to the employees, another for loans, and they have not succeeded in finding a new office until the money is used to keep the company afloat while looking for new. With luck, there is thus a chance for a nice dividend to shareholders in the long term.
Since I consider the shares seems extremely undervalued.
Let's look at another company that once was in similar proportion.
DICE!
Let me say that I do not know the volume of shares, someone who knows feel free to find out the faktan but I would predict that in the case of many more than Starbreeze.
http://hem.bredband.net/b131796/EA-Dice.htm
Dice shares have therefore been up to incredible 90 Euro!
How Starbreeze shares can be traded for a single penny is completely incomprehensible to me, this is not a company that has sold millions of games in total.
Since it's here that the product is classed as "durable"
but what many miss is that the game now has a 'tail' where you can easily earn some extra money by developing additional materials that can be purchased online. So-called DLC.
EA is especially well known for releasing lots of DLC, this course provides additional Starbreeze jingles at checkout.
Then there are of course always a chance of buying, I think iofs not that it is updated in the near future but you never know.
Will it be a hit so maybe EA chooses to buy Starbreeze instead of paying the royalties, as they did to DICE.
Since it is obvious that the game is released until the 360 and PS3 as a boxat games. EA would never agree to have it as a single platform, especially not given derans breakeven.
Perhaps we may even see a PC version, we may see just what EA has decided.
.
Now approaching the earliest announcement of the game, according to Mr Kristiansson, perhaps at the Tokyo Game Show, if not, where CES.
TGS begins 16 September 2010 and CES January 6, 2011.
Believe that shares will go to 0.30 now, then when the trailer is placed where it can really go to infinity
The last game went from 0.25 kr the bottom to 0.46 kr top.Allmost 100% and here there was not a big EA games but on a smaller gamecompany. Now it hit bottom at 0.20 kr so in my optics a value well above 0.50 kr is most countable.
Also remember that Starbreeze 115 people, who easily could have two projects running simultaneously spirit.
We have a very exciting year ahead with the announcement of the game, new missions to Starbreeze, and a release of about a year.
I would however continue to point out that this is a high-risk shares, game development is not easy, but when it goes well then it will go really well. And Starbreeze really have any potential in the world to achieve great success. (And maybe make us a little richer on the way)
But first some basic history.
